Kickstart your application by simply completing our online enquiry form or getting in touch with our Admissions team. We will reach out to you to explain the process and organise the next steps.

Guided visit

Book a guided tour to discover St. George’s College, meet our teachers and learn more about our learning environment. During your visit, you’ll also have an informative conversation with our Admissions team.

Application

Register your child on our admissions platform and upload the required documentation.

Assessment and family meeting

Depending on the grade, your child will take part in academic and psychoeducational assessments. Parents are invited to a family interview so we can get to know you better and understand how we can best support your child’s learning journey.

Results

The Admissions Committee communicates the decision and, if admitted, the place offer letter is issued.

Enrolment

Once the entrance fee has been paid, the student officially joins the SGC community.

We use active learning methodologies, with a strong focus on Inquiry-Based Learning through International Curriculum Association programmes (IEYC, IPC, IMYC). In Grades 10 and 11 we offer the rigorous International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme.

Yes. Since 2011 we have been an IB World School and we offer the IB Diploma Programme in Grades 10 and 11, while Nursery to Grade 9 follow the ICA programmes.

It depends on the stage:

  • Early Years: approximately 60% of instruction in English.
  • Junior: approximately 50%.
  • Middle Years: approximately 40%.
  • IB Diploma: varies according to the subjects chosen.

We offer more than 15 sports, arts, music, science and leadership activities. In Senior, there is a wide range of after-school activities on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Yes. We have agreements with national and international universities through the IB and maintain links with institutions such as PUCP, Universidad de Lima and Universidad del Pacífico, as well as Oxford, Harvard and UBC.

Yes. From Grade 5 to Grade 9, students learn French in partnership with the Alliance Française, and it can be chosen as a subject in the IB Diploma.

From Early Years to Senior, we organise trips and study visits in and outside Lima that strengthen fieldwork, research and community building.

We are a secular school, although most of our families are Catholic. We promote universal values and learning about different religions as part of our international education.

  • Nursery and Pre-Kinder: 7:30 am – 1:00 pm
  • Kinder: 7:30 am – 2:00 pm
  • Grades 1–2: 7:30 am – 3:00 pm
  • Grades 3–4: 7:30 am – 3:30 pm
  • Grades 5–11: 7:30 am – 3:00 pm (Mon, Tue, Fri) and until 4:30 pm (Wed, Thu).
