Students prepare for the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme, a globally recognised qualification valued for its academic rigour and acceptance by prestigious universities around the world.
Students deepen their study of literary works from a critical, aesthetic and cultural perspective. Independent thinking, appreciation of world literature and the ability to build solid, well-founded arguments are all encouraged.
Learners refine their English, Spanish and French as additional or native languages through active use every day. Students communicate in real global, academic and professional contexts, gaining the confidence to move fluently between multiple languages.
Students analyse social, political and economic dynamics through history, economics and business. Learners compare perspectives, connect local and global issues and develop an ethical, well-informed view of today’s and tomorrow’s challenges.
Students study biology, physics and chemistry in depth, linking theory with hands-on practice. Learners design experiments, work in laboratories and interpret real data, preparing for future scientific, medical or technological pathways.
Students tackle standard and advanced mathematics, strengthening analytical, abstract and applied thinking. Learners solve complex problems, test different strategies and connect mathematics with other disciplines and real-world situations.
Students use music, drama and visual arts to explore their creativity through both technical and conceptual approaches. Learners design personal projects, refine their artistic expression and build a portfolio that showcases their identity and aesthetic vision.

Morning arrival
7:30am – 7:50amStudents begin the day in tutor time, plan their schedule and set clear goals for the day.
Morning lessons
7:50am – 10:30amStudents focus on key subjects such as Language, Sciences, Humanities, Mathematics and English.
Snack break
10:30am – 10:50amStudents take a short break, enjoy a healthy snack and recharge before continuing to learn.
Late-morning lessons
10:50am – 1:00pmStudents engage in interdisciplinary activities and study subjects such as Theory of Knowledge (TOK).
Lunchtime

Students in the International Baccalaureate Career-related Programme (IBCP) combine the academic rigour of the IB with practical, career-related learning. At St. George’s College, students in the final years of school shape a personalised pathway that reflects their interests, strengths and future aspirations.
Through a combination of IB subjects and career-focused studies, students build strong academic knowledge, develop practical expertise and apply transferable skills in meaningful contexts. They gain the confidence, experience and qualifications to pursue university, specialised training or career opportunities, preparing them to thrive in an increasingly global and interconnected world.
The programme is structured around four main components:
Students take at least two subjects from the IB Diploma Programme, strengthening critical thinking, research skills, communication and high-level academic learning.
