Held in Nairobi, Kenya, where the national delegation achieved four victories in the preliminary rounds. The talent and preparation of our students transcend borders. Ingrid Rodriguez Müller was selected to represent Peru at the 2026 World Schools Debating Championships (WSDC), one of the most prestigious international English-language school debating competitions. Her selection for Team Peru was the result of a rigorous selection process and months of preparation. As part of this journey, Ingrid participated in several tournaments on the international English-language debating circuit, standing out as a finalist at the 2026 Harvard College World Schools Invitational. In Nairobi, she competed alongside the Peruvian delegation in a championship that brought together representatives from more than 74 countries. During the preliminary rounds, Team Peru secured four victories, a notable result for the national delegation in the competition. This experience gave Ingrid the opportunity to put her research, argumentation, and English communication skills into practice, while also exchanging perspectives with young people from around the world. At St. George’s College, we congratulate Ingrid on her dedication and commitment, and for proudly representing Peru and our school community on a highly demanding international stage.
