PRIVACY NOTICE

In compliance with the provisions of Law No. 29733 – Personal Data Protection Law, and its Regulation approved by Supreme Decree No. 016-2024-JUS, Colegio San Jorge de Miraflores S.C.R.L. hereby informs its applicants, as well as their parents or legal guardians, of the following aspects related to the processing of their personal data. Likewise, the parents or guardians signing this document grant their consent for the processing of their personal data and that of their children or wards under the terms set forth herein:

1. IDENTITY AND ADDRESS OF THE DATA CONTROLLER OR DATA PROCESSORS:
   The controller of the personal data databases in which applicants’ personal data will be stored is Colegio San Jorge de Miraflores S.C.R.L., with registered address at Av. Ernesto Montagne No. 360, District of Miraflores, Province and Department of Lima, Peru.
   
   The existence of these personal data databases has been declared to the National Authority for Personal Data Protection under the following names
   
   “PERSONAL DATA DATABASE OF APPLICANTS (PARENTS AND/OR LEGAL GUARDIANS AND THEIR MINOR CHILDREN) – code: RNPDP-PJP No. 16639”, “VIDEO SURVEILLANCE” – code: RNPDP-PJP No. 11707, and “VISITORS REGISTER” – code: RNPDP-PJP No. 26251.
   
   Users are hereby informed that any processing of personal data will comply with the applicable legislation in PERU (Law No. 29733 and its Regulation).
   
   
   
2. ADDITIONAL CONSENT:
   You voluntarily authorise Colegio San Jorge de Miraflores S.C.R.L. to use personal data for the purposes indicated below. Refusal to grant this authorisation will not affect the application process or the relationship with the School.
   
   a) In particular, I authorise the recording, publication, live streaming and dissemination of audiovisual material (photographs, videos and audio recordings) that include the image and voice of the parent or guardian signing this document and of my child. Such recording, publication, live streaming and dissemination may be carried out for advertising purposes; therefore, the image and voice of the parent or guardian and the minor may be included in advertising materials, institutional photographs and videos and/or various announcements. This material may be published and disseminated on websites, digital communication channels (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and Twitter), among others, according to the School’s needs. This processing is additional and its authorisation is free and optional.
   
   Your personal data will only be used for the purposes indicated above. If you do not accept the additional processing described in section (a), this will not affect the information provided to you by the School.
   
   
   
3. TRANSFERS AND RECIPIENTS:
   Additionally, provided that you have accepted the additional processing in section 2, your data may be transferred to the following data processors:
   
   •  Yachay, with registered address at Jr. Gonzales Prada 585, Surquillo 15047, Lima – Peru, a company responsible for the design and management of the institutional website, to whom personal data of students that may be included in the website content will be transferred.
   
   •  Advertising Agencies – for the preparation of advertising materials, which may be used on the School’s website, institutional materials, social media and/or various announcements accessible to parents and third parties.
   
   •  Social Media Management Companies – to prepare or disseminate various advertisements for the School’s advertising purposes.
   
   The School may provide data to other data processors not listed in this document where required or appropriate for the provision of its services or related thereto, informing the data subject in advance and obtaining consent where applicable, except in cases provided for by law.
   
   
   
4. DATA RETENTION PERIOD:
   The personal data provided will be retained until the data subject requests its deletion or until the purpose for which it was collected has been fulfilled, provided that such deletion does not affect legal or contractual obligations of Colegio San Jorge de Miraflores S.C.R.L. or the statutory limitation periods established under applicable regulations.
   
   
   
5. EXERCISE OF RIGHTS OF INFORMATION, ACCESS, RECTIFICATION, ERASURE AND OBJECTION:
   As the holder of personal data, the user has the right to access the data held by Colegio San Jorge de Miraflores S.C.R.L.; to know the characteristics of its processing; to request rectification if it is inaccurate or incomplete; to request its deletion when deemed unnecessary for the purposes stated above; or to object to its processing for specific purposes.
   
   The user may revoke the consent granted at any time and may also limit the use or disclosure of personal data, in accordance with section 4.

   To exercise these rights, the user must submit a request in accordance with the Regulation of Law No. 29733, including: the data subject’s name and address or other means to receive a response; proof of identity or legal representation; a clear and precise description of the data concerned; and any other information that facilitates locating the data
   
   If the user considers that their rights have not been properly addressed, they may lodge a complaint with the National Authority for Personal Data Protection.
   
   These requests will be processed within a maximum period of twenty (20) working days, in accordance with Article 79 of the Regulation approved by Supreme Decree No. 016-2024-JUS.
   
   Colegio San Jorge de Miraflores S.C.R.L. shall be responsible for the personal data databases “PERSONAL DATA DATABASE OF APPLICANTS (PARENTS AND/OR LEGAL GUARDIANS AND THEIR MINOR CHILDREN)”, “VIDEO SURVEILLANCE” and “VISITORS REGISTER”, as well as for the personal data contained therein. In order to prevent loss, misuse, alteration, unauthorised access and theft of personal data or confidential information provided by users and/or clients, the School has adopted the legally required levels of security and data protection and has implemented all technical measures within its reach.
   
   However, Colegio San Jorge de Miraflores S.C.R.L. shall only be liable for damages caused to data subjects where it is proven that such damages were caused by the School or its employees. Compensation shall be paid only when ordered by a final and enforceable court decision.
   
   
   
6. AUTHORISATION
   By accepting this document, I freely, prior, expressly, unequivocally and informedly authorise Colegio San Jorge de Miraflores S.C.R.L., with Tax ID (RUC) 20388996782, with registered address at Av. Ernesto Montagne No. 360, Miraflores, Lima, to process my personal data and/or that of my minor child, over whom I hold parental authority or guardianship, in accordance with the terms set out herein.
